School of Theosophy: Impediments to Self-Awakening

School of Theosophy 2024

Impediments to Self-Awakening

with Barry Bowden

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

The spiritual world enfolds us, yet we are mostly unaware of its presence in our lives. Understanding our relationship to the spiritual world allows us to find harmony within it.

The school will explore the impediments to Self-Awakening and look at some practical examples of how our attachment to outer senses are what blind the inner ones.

School of Theosophy 2024 Director of Studies Barry Bowden has been a National Lecturer for The Theosophical Society in Australia and is currently the coordinator of its Toowoomba centre.

Barry has formed a deep connection with nature through many years of bio-dynamic farming, giving him a practical understanding of life that has illumined his study of Theosophy. He believes that a progressive understanding of evolution can give deep meaning to life and reveal the hidden beauty behind the plan of its unfoldment.
