This special event will be an online panel of theosophists from New Zealand and Australia. In this session we will discuss significant moments of the past 150 years, challenges facing the Society in today's world and what might the future for the Society look like.

Meet the Panel
The panel will be moderated by Renée Sell, President of Auckland's HPB Lodge.
Stephen McDonald - National President Australia
Stephen has been a member the Theosophical Society since 1976 and is currently the National President of the T.S. in Australia. With a background in natural therapies and tertiary education, he holds a Master of Health Science from the University of Newcastle.
Stephen is passionate about bringing the wisdom of theosophy to life - showing how its timeless insights can illuminate the challenges of our modern world.
Richard Sell - National President New Zealand
Richard comes from a Theosophical family in New Zealand and joined the Theosophical Society as a teenager.
Richard loves all things theosophical, but he is especially interested in the self-awareness and transformation process that is undertaken by the individual and how this can be applied in everyday living. He is a history buff and theosophical history is near to his heart.
Richard is the National President in New Zealand and President of the Indo-Pacific Federation. He has also been a member of the New Zealand Governance Board since its inception.
Richard is a national and international speaker, contributes articles to theosophical magazines and is very active in promoting theosophy as a founder of the theosophy.world resource website.
Pedro Oliveira - International Theosophical speaker
Pedro joined the Theosophical Society in 1978 and holds a degree in Philosophy from the Federal University in Brazil. He is a former Education Coordinator for the Australian Section. Pedro has lectured widely for the Society in many countries and his articles have appeared in a number of TS journals.
Other positions previously held by him include International Secretary of the TS, Head of the Editorial Office at the International Headquarters in Adyar, and President of the Indo-Pacific Federation of the TS.
Pedro is also the author of the books N. Sri Ram – A Life of Beneficence and Wisdom published by TPH Adyar in 2009, and ‘CWL Speaks: CWL Leadbeater’s Correspondence Concerning the 1906 Crisis in the Theosophical Society’, published by Olive Tree Publishing. Recently, he co-authored the book, Annie Besant in India.
