Events

Theosophy New Zealand hosts events throughout the year which are generally open to anyone interested in learning more about themselves in relation to who they are and what life is all about. We encourage enquiry with open hearts and minds into world religions, philosophy, science and the arts; and to support the individual's endeavours to understand and apply the ageless wisdom, respect and honour all life, and pursue spiritual self-realisation.

  • Art and Spirituality, a Sacred Connection. During this special weekend event, we will engage in art as a spiritual practice, share aesthetic and sacred experiences, celebrate our wholeness and connect with the Divine. The Central Region Gathering is hosted by the Hawke's Bay centre and features speakers, artists, poets and musicians from throughout the central region, as well as from the TSNZ national office. It is a great chance for members in the central region to meet and connect with people from other branches.
  • The Indo-Pacific conferences are a highlight of the Theosophical Society's calendar, occurring just once every three years. Members travel from throughout the India-Pacific region and beyond to explore and share the ageless wisdom in fellowship, meet old friends and forge new friendships. The conferences are full of learning, inspiration and camaraderie. The theme for the 2026 conference is Reach Within, to Embrace the Unity of Life.
  • 2027 National Convention

    to
The 130th national convention will be held from the 15th - 19th January 2027 in Whangarei. The convention is an opportunity for the society's members and like-minded individuals to gather and share in discussion, enjoy each other's company and attend the presentations and workshops that are offered throughout the programme. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and connect with friends - old and new alike - and go deeper into the teachings of what's known as the ancient wisdom or perennial philosophy. More information will be available soon. Registration opens September 1st.
