  • On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September, The Theosophical Society Central Region Gathering will take place in Palmerston North. There will be speakers from throughout the Central Region, as well as both the TS National President and past TS National President, all speaking to the theme Humanity's Spiritual Evolution. Hosted by Theosophy Palmerston North, the weekend will include a celebration for the lodge's Theosophical Hall, which was built and opened 100 years ago in 1924.

  • The World Federation of Young Theosophists (WFYT) is hosting an international youth gathering that will take place from 22-27 June 2024 at the Bhowali Theosophical Centre, Himalaya, Uttaranchal, India. The convention is an opportunity for younger members of the Theosophical Society (under 41 years of age) to connect with like-minded brothers and sisters from around the world. The theme of this event is The Flame of Theosophy: Revisiting the Fundamentals.
  • Over five consecutive Sundays, starting Sunday 9th June, we will be joined live via Zoom by five different presenters from across the globe, each taking us on a unique journey in Exploring Consciousness. Registration is free - click on the event to access the registration link.
  • REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. School of Theosophy 2024 - Impediments to Self-Awakening with Barry Bowden. The school will run from Thursday 25 April to Sunday 28 April. Registration will open on 1st March 2024 - you can register online or look out for the registration form in the March issue of Theosophia.

    127th National Convention of the Theosophical Society in NZ Inc. Exploring the Journey of the Soul, 11 – 16 January 2024 At the Scenic Hotel Cotswold, Christchurch. Come and join us as we explore together to deepen our understanding of the Mystery of which we are all a part. Why are we here? What is our part to play? How do we open ourselves to the possibilities hidden within? What can we learn from others? This theme is at the very heart of Theosophy. We look forward to sharing together the journey of discovery.
  • The International Theosophical Society Annual Convention will be held from 31 December (8:30am) 2023 to 4th January (6pm) held at the International Headquarters in Adyar, Chennai, India. This is one of the best time to visit Adyar and participate in this inspiring event. Registration is required and accommodation is available to members of the Society.
  • The reactivated World Federation of Young Theosophists (WFYT) is organizing an international convention of young theosophists that will take place from 27-30 December 2023 in the TS headquarters, Adyar (India). This will be an occasion to connect with fellow young like-minded brothers and sisters coming from different countries and continents who hold dear the essence of Theosophy, and who try to embrace it and bring it to Life, day by day. Also, we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Young Theosophists’ movement founded under the presidency of Annie Besant.
  • Adyar School of Wisdom

    The International Theosophical Headquarter in Adyar, Chennai each year holds a series of events called the Schools of Wisdom which are available to members to attend. These events generally take place in Blavatsky Bungalow on the property, with classes conducted by respected presenters.
  • Richard Sell comes from a Theosophical family in New Zealand and first joined the Theosophical Society as a teenager. Richard loves all things theosophical, but he is especially interested in the self-awareness and transformation process that is undertaken by the individual and how this can be applied in everyday living.
  • Exploring The Secret Doctrine with Martin Leiderman will share, during four online sessions, the following: ON Sunday 3 September - The One and the Many: An Eternal and Periodical Principle; On Sunday 8 October - The Three Logoi in the S.D. as the Inner Master in the Voice of the Silence; On Sunday 5 November - The Third Fundamental Proposition and the Evolutionary Chain of Beings and on Sunday 3 December - Key Ideas in the Cosmogenesis Stanzas of Dzyan. The sessions will start at 3:00pm New Zealand Time.

These ideas based on the principles of the unity of all life, the cyclic nature of the universe, and the pathways to the unfolding of awareness, have been put forward for exploration.

  • Out of the billions of human beings on the planet Earth, only a few are deeply struck by the obvious fact that ‘I did not create myself.’  We use the expression ‘I am breathing’ as if I created my breathing apparatus as well as the air that is needed fo
